Optik Yuda — Odoo Implementation for Integration of Sales, Purchases, Inventory, and Finance Across Branches

Company Overview

Optik Yuda is a retail eyewear business with branches in Bandung, Garut, and Tasikmalaya. Optik Yuda provides eye examination services as well as eyewear or lens replacement services. Its payment system accommodates both general methods and BPJS, requiring operations to have a neat and easily traceable process across multiple locations.

Condition (Before Implementation)

Before using Odoo, Optik Yuda faced challenges because business processes were running separately. Sales and purchase activities were conducted without well-recorded transaction histories, making transaction tracing and data consistency difficult. There was no integration between material purchases and inventory movement, leading to unclear stock visibility and suboptimal inventory control. Financial administration was also still conducted separately, resulting in additional manual work and complicating the rapid consolidation of transaction records.

Challenges

Optik Yuda needs to address 3 main requirements:

  1. Sales and purchases were conducted without well-recorded histories.
  2. There was no integration between material purchases and inventory movement.
  3. Financial administration was still conducted separately.
Odoo Implementation Solution

To address these challenges, Optik Yuda implemented Odoo to connect the main processes within a single system:

  1. Sales & Purchase for Sales and Purchase Transactions.The implementation of the Sales and Purchase modules is carried out so that sales and purchase transactions are well-documented and have a history that is easy to trace.
  2. Stock Automation with the Inventory Module.Stock management is automated through the Inventory module, allowing for clearer monitoring of goods movement and more accurate inventory control.
  3. Accounting Module for Centralized Financial Recording.The Accounting module is used to record all financial transactions, making administration more structured and consistent.
Results

With the implementation of Odoo, Optik Yuda successfully transformed previously separate processes into an integrated operational system. The history of sales and purchases has become clearer, stock management has improved through the automation of inventory movement, and financial recording has become centralized through accounting integration. As a result, operational consistency between branches has increased, and control and reporting have become more organized to support daily business needs.
