PT Bola Dunia Walet — Odoo Implementation for Sales, Production, Warehouse, and HR Integration

Company Overview

PT Bola Dunia Walet is a food manufacturing company based on seaweed, particularly agar products. Its distribution coverage serves the domestic market throughout Indonesia as well as exports to various countries in Asia. With business activities that include sales, production, warehousing, and human resource management, the company needs a system that can unify operational processes to be more organized, faster, and easier to monitor.

Condition (Before Implementation)

Before the implementation of Odoo, several core processes were still running manually, which was time-consuming and posed a risk of data discrepancies between departments. Product sales recording was done manually, making the transaction status and sales progress tracking not always clear. Recording of production processes and reporting of production results were also still manual, making production output monitoring suboptimal. On the HR side, attendance recording for both internal employees and daily workers was not integrated, while HR administration needs (leave, payroll, and employee data) required digitization for better order.

Challenges

PT Bola Dunia Walet needs to address 4 main requirements:

  1. Product sales recording is still done manually.
  2. Recording of production processes and production result reports is still manual.
  3. Attendance recording for internal employees and daily workers is not integrated.
  4. HR administration needs digitization (leave, payroll, employee data).
Odoo Implementation Solution

To address these challenges, Odoo is implemented as an integrated system from upstream to downstream:

  1. Structured Sales (Quotation & Sales Order) + Status Tracking.Odoo is used for creating and managing quotations and Sales Orders, along with clear sales status tracking (e.g., draft, confirmed, to shipped). This helps the team know the progress of transactions in real-time and facilitates the tracing of sales history.
  2. Multi-Warehouse Management and Automated Stock.Warehouse operations are managed with a multi-warehouse concept for various needs (raw materials, finished goods, and others). The process of receiving goods and stock recording is automated, making inventory visibility more accurate and the movement of goods easier to trace.
  3. Integrated Attendance with Payroll.Daily, weekly, and monthly attendance recording is run integrated, so that absenteeism data can directly support payroll needs. This helps ensure payroll calculations are more consistent and reduces manual recap work.
Results

With the implementation of Odoo, PT Bola Dunia Walet successfully unified important processes—sales, warehousing, and HR—into one more organized and easily monitored system. Sales status became more transparent, stock management more accurate through the automation of receiving and inventory recording, and attendance directly connected to payroll. As a result, operational processes became more efficient, data more consistent across departments, and the company has a system foundation that is better prepared to support national distribution and exports.
